The 43rd Graduation and Prize-giving Ceremony was held on 17 May 2025 at the School Hall.
Our alumnus Mr. Bosco Leung, Sisters of Franciscan Missionary Sisters of Our Lady of Sorrows, Managers of the School and other guests of honour officiated at the ceremony. It was commenced by the National Flag Raising Ceremony, followed by School Supervisor Sister Mary Lucy Chung who shared that 2025 is the Year of Jubilee declared by the late Pope Francis. The bible reading (Mt 5:13-16) in the graduation ceremony echoed the theme of this Jubilee year. Sister Lucy prepared everyone a key ring featuring the light of Lord and she handed this gift out to every guest-of-honour. All F.6 class teachers also gave these key rings to graduates. Sister Lucy hoped that everyone could carry the light from the Lord and serve one another in our lives. Our Principal, Ms. Mok Kit Yue then presented the School Report and she thanked everyone for their effort to bring up our graduates and instill good virtues in them.
Our honourable officiator Mr. Bosco Leung presented the leaving certificates to graduates and shared his valuable insights with students. Mr. Leung emphasised that apart from studying, every effort we put in our lives was evidence of diligence and commitment to the society. He advised students to explore the world and not to be limited by surrounding factors. Regardless of obstacles and failure, success would come. He also said that family, friends and society were backing everyone up. What we did was actually for the foundation for the future generations. Everyone was unique. He concluded his speech by sharing two books. They were Tuesdays with Morrie and Courage to be Disliked. These two books he thought were inspiring to guide one to walk through challenges.
Mr. Leung was then followed by our graduate representative, Alaina Ng from 6 John who delivered her valedictory speech. She was full of gratitude to the College, the Principal for her holistic education. She also thanked Sisters of Franciscan Missionary Sisters of Our Lady of Sorrows in her journey of studies. To make the ceremony more memorable, our school choir and graduates performed for everyone attending the ceremony and they received rounds of applause. The finale of the graduation ceremony was singing the school song in unity. Everyone stood and sang together for the last time. The ceremony ended beautifully in our school song dedicated to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
