The “Innovation and Technology Support Program Public Sector Trial Scheme” was organised by the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups and the Innovation and Technology Commission, with sponsorship from the Innovation and Technology Fund and the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust. The competition included a series of AI module design workshops held from February to March this year, which aimed to train young people to observe community needs and use artificial intelligence tools to solve problems. A results presentation event was held in May, during which participants shared tools they designed to address existing community issues.
Our school representatives, including Yeung Pak Hong from 1 Luke, Chu Tsan Yung Nicholas from 1 John, Yu Lucas from 1 John, Lau Yu Yan from 1 John, Koon Chung Hin from 2 John, Lee Kai Yeung from 3 John, performed exceptionally in the competition. With their AI-driven elderly care solution, they won the “Best Social Service Award.”
