Our School Opening Mass was held in the School Hall on 15 September 2021. Based on the theme of the school ‘Positive and Proactive – Thriving on Knowledge, Confidence and Talent’, Sister Lucy reminded students to believe in themselves. Students should realise that they have various talents, so they can make contribution to the school and society.
After the ceremony at school, all teaching staff and catholic students of Immaculate Heart of Mary College, Immaculate Heart of Mary School and Immaculate Heart of Mary Kindergarten attended the Mass for the Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows at Saint Alfred’s Church. Rev, Matthias Choi, OFM encouraged us to learn obedience from the Blessed Mother and be blessings to other people. As students are immersed in love of Jesus, parents, principals and teachers, they should cherish it and spread the love.
Rev. Matthias blessed all the teaching staff and students. The mass ended in beautiful melody of a song we sang to praise the Blessed Mother.
