On 25 March, 2022, Pope Francis consecrated Ukraine, Russia, and all of humanity to the Immaculate Heart of Mary as part of ongoing efforts to end the violence and bloodshed currently taking place in Ukraine. This consecration took place during a Lenten penitential service in St. Peter’s Basilica, and Pope Francis has invited all of the Catholic faithful throughout the world to join him.
