The School Environmental Education Team participated in the “Towards Net-Zero School Project” organized by the UNESCO Hong Kong Association from November 2022 to September 2023. We have transformed into a pilot school dedicated to championing carbon neutrality initiatives among educational institutions.
Under the guidance of experts, our school continuously collected and analyzed data to quantify our carbon reduction progress. We established the first campus carbon ledger, completed a carbon audit report, and were awarded a commendation certificate. The Project also included a series of training activities for our Environmental Protection Ambassadors to enhance students’ awareness of sustainable development and carbon neutrality policies.
