Cheers for our students for winning the “AI Challenge x Slope Challenge” AWS DeepRacer Invention Proposal Competition organized by the Hong Kong Government Civil Engineering and Development Department and AiTLE.
Our students suggested upgrading the Fire Department’s lifesaving equipment by adding LiDAR onto firefighter helmets to search for potential trapped victims, scan for landside mapping and calculate the safest and most effective rescuing route when a landside occur. It was glad that they were awarded with the Best Proposal Award.

Meanwhile, our students (Chien Hok Hing from 4 Luke, Liu Yi Ting from 4 Luke, Lee Tsz Long from 6 Matthew, Tso Kam To from 6 Matthew , Leung Cheuk Ki from 6 Matthew, Leung Ka Yu from 6 Mark) participated in the “ECO Home Model Design Competition” organised by the Hong Kong Government STEM Education Centre & ATEC. Students applied low-carbon technologies to design and craft scaled architectural models. Both junior and senior groups were awarded Certificates of Merit. Congratulations!
